Introductory Paragraph

Abraham Lincoln once said "The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time." This means that time never stops and it goes by day by day. I agree because the best thing about the future is that it comes day by day but you don't really know what tomorrow will bring. This can be clearly seen in the first chapter of The Last Universe because nobody expected Suzan brother to be in a wheel chair, but one day it happened. In the book The Last Universe Suzan was scared of the garden in the backyard, but not no more, she really didn't talk to her brother but now they are best friends, and she used to be scared of a lot of things but she has matured, time really changes things.

Hero Qoute

Qoute - "A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles." - Christopher Reeve 

     What Christopher was trying to say, you don't have to be a fictional character to be a hero. A hero to him is more as someone that doesn't let obstacles win him.  A hero try's and perseveres until he overcomes the obstacle instead of giving up and letting the obstacle over come you.
     I agree with Christopher Reeves. I also think a hero doesn't have to save someones life to be considered a hero. A hero can be anybody you look up to or a role model to you.
     My hero is my dad. He makes sure I am happy and makes sure I am always full. Thats why my hero is my dad and nobody can take his spot.

Book Summary

My theme was time.  I chose this book because it has to do with my groups theme, but I also chose it because I  would like to read this book. I think this book is about a girl with a disabled brother and that are going to over come there fears by going to a scary garden that they've always been afraid of.
